Gainesville wants more comment on city plan

GAINESVILLE - The city of Gainesville is putting the finishing touches on its Draft 2030 Comprehensive Plan, and those who live and work in the city will have another chance to comment on the plan Tuesday, Feb. 21.

According to Gainesville Planning Manager Matt Tate, an online survey revealed that one of the most important issues facing the city is the improvement of the appearance of Gainesville's gateway corridors. Citizens will have a chance to comment on that issue and others at the Georgia Mountains Center between 5:30 and 7:30 during a drop-in open house.

The meeting will be held in Room A.
