Jamie Hood spoke at a pre-trial hearing in Clarke County Wednesday. The judge and Hood's lawyers tried to keep him quiet during the hearing, but he said he had to get something off his chest.
Hood complained that his cell is too cold and that he isn't able to spend enough time on the phone, among other complaints.
Hood is charged with murder in the March 22, 2011 shooting of Senior Police Officer Elmer "Buddy" Christian and with attempting to murder SPO Tony Howard. He is also believed responsible for the murder of county employee Kenneth Omari Wray.
District Attorney Ken Mauldin has filed notice to seek the death penalty if Hood is convicted.
