Girls basketball: East Hall finishes regular season on 7-game win streak

BLAIRSVILLE -- The East Hall girls finsihed the regular season on a seven-game win streak after holding off Union County 57-42 on the road.

The Lady Vikings (22-3, 9-1 in Region 8A-AA) got 20 points from Morgan Jackson and 18 from Jasmine Jenkins in the win. The victory avenged a 59-56 win to the Lady Panthers (19-6, 6-4) two weeks ago.

Rebecka Merritt led the Panthers with a team-high 12 points. Union County has lost three of its last four after winning 18 of its first 21 games.
