After graduating early and signing a letter of intent for North Carolina on National Signing Day last week, the former Flowery Branch quarterback will be honored by the Touchdown Club of Atlanta as its Offensive Player of the Year from the Metro Atlanta Area.
A dual threat, Coker passed for 2,809 yards and 31 touchdowns against 10 interceptions while also rushing for over 700 yards and 15 TDs, helping lead the Falcons to the Class AAAA quarterfinals before falling to eventual state champion Tucker.
Coker will be presented with an award by the Touchdown Club on Feb. 17 at Flowery Branch.
