CARTERSVILLE, Ga. (AP) Authorities say they have found the body of a Georgia woman missing for two days near a highway where her car veered down an embankment and crashed.

The Rome News-Tribune reports that Bartow County deputy coroner Brandon Duncan confirmed the body found Saturday was that of 43-year-old Nancy Pension of Rome.

Pension's family had reported her missing on Thursday, saying she had dropped her children off at school and headed for work in Kennesaw north of Atlanta. She never made it to her job.

Duncan says the Georgia State Patrol is investigating the wreck after finding Pension's body at the scene of a car crash off U.S. Highway 411 in Bartow County.
Nancy Pension was reported missing Friday morning after not making it to work.
