Boys basketball: Lions hammer Towns County

GAINESVILLE -- Lakeview Academy moved to within one win of clinching Region 8-A after crushing Towns County 83-21 Friday night at home.

Austin Pearson poured in 12 points to lead the Lions (18-4, 12-1 in region) to their 12th win in 13 games. Joel Larsen added 11 points and Derek Fadool had 10 for Lakeview Academy.
