Girls basketball: Lady Spartans finish regular season on 6-game win streak

OAKWOOD -- The West Hall girls finished the regular season on a season-high six-game win streak after whipping Monroe Area 61-38 Friday night in Region 8B-AAA action.

The Lady Spartans (11-15, 8-4 in subregion) led just 29-23 at halftime but used a 20-6 third quarter to blow the game open. the cruised to the win in the fourth quarter.

Macy Tullis paced West Hall with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Maia Booker added 14 points and Brooke Reed had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Spartans.

Kelsey Hill and Channtay Brown each scored 10 points to lead Monroe Area.
