Milton Martin Toyota planning to relocate to Oakwood

GAINESVILLE - Milton Martin Toyota announced Wednesday that a new dealership it plans in Oakwood will mean the closing of the landmark Browns Bridge Road location.

Plans for the Oakwood dealership, near Exit 17 on I-985, surfaced at Monday night's Oakwood City Council meeting. City officials were told construction could begin before next spring. (See earlier story.)

Company officials say the dealership is currently in the planning stage of a building program to accommodate continued growth and the need for a larger facility.

"Our primary intent in building a new dealership is to better serve our customers by providing a state-of-the art facility with the same family friendly environment we have always offered," said General Manager, Tommy Martin.

The new building will combine the operations of the Sales, Service, Parts and Business Departments and will also include a stand-alone Collision Center.

"Our goal in relocating is to provide an easy access location for our Hall County customers while preparing for the future growth of our community," Martin added.

Milton Martin Toyota is a third generation family-owned and operated dealership which has been in business 53 years. The dealership employs more than 100 people and has received numerous awards this past year and in previous years including the Toyota
