Girls basketball: Towns County too much for Lakeview

HIAWASSEE -- The Towns County girls basketball team took out Lakeview Academy 65-35 on Friday night in Hiawassee.

Stephanie Patton scored a game-high 29 points to pace the Lady Indians, while Erin Cochran added 12 points.

Taylor Handte led Lakeview (4-3) with 16 points. The Lady Lions were held to five points in the first quarter.

Lakeview will play host to George Walton Academy on Tuesday.
