Girls basketball: Lady Falcons whip Winder-Barrow

WINDER -- Tavia Sykes had 13 points, six rebounds, and three assists to lead the Flowery Branch girls basketball team to a 46-13 win over Winder-Barrow Tuesday night.

While Sykes was leading the offense, the defense was downright stingy against the Lady Bulldoggs. Flowery Branch held Winder-Barrow to six points in the first half and just seven points in the second half.

Marissa Ivey and Dani Lacko each had seven points for the Lady Falcons (4-0).

Flowey Branch next will play host to Apalachee on Friday.
