Girls basketball: Lady Spartans suffer first loss

ATLANTA -- The West Hall girls basketball team suffered its first loss of the season in a 50-19 loss to St.Pius on the road.

The Golden Lions' Jasmin Carter was too much for the Lady Spartans (2-1) pouring in 21 points.

West Hall was led by Maia Booker with seven points and Kaelyn Gattis added four points and eight rebounds.

The Lady Spartans next will travel to Jefferson on Thursday.
