Gainesville teen to compete this week for Miss Georgia Teen USA

GAINESVILLE - A student from North Georgia Christian School will represent the city of Gainesville at this week's Miss Georgia Teen USA pageant.

Chellsy Vanessa Gomez, 15, will compete with other contestants from around the state November 15, 16 and 17 at the Woodland Performing Arts Theatre in Cartersville.

Gomez is the daughter of Dr. Richard Gomez and Lori Lake. She is a sophomore at North Georgia Christian School and attends church at Good Shepherd Lutheran. Her sponsors for the pageant are many friends, family and The Dance Company.

The Miss Georgia Teen USA and Miss Georgia USA pageants are the official preliminaries to the Miss Teen USA, Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants and are a join venture of Donald Trump and NBC Universal.
