GAINESVILLE - The man accused of being the hitman in a Valentine's Day 2010 shooting in Hall County pleaded guilty Monday and was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

According to Hall County District Attorney Lee Darragh, Reginald Coleman had been scheduled to go on trial November 26, but the prosecution and defense came to terms on the guilty plea.

Coleman was also sentenced to a consecutive five years on a firearms charge and another concurrent five years on another firearms charge.

Coleman gunned down 45 year old Richard Schoeck at Belton Bridge Park in Lula. The case against Schoeck's wife, Stacey Schoeck is still pending, according to Darragh.

Lynitra Ross of Austell was sentenced to life in prison without parole in the case earlier this year. She had been accused of being the go-between between Stacey Schoeck and Coleman.
