Area teams ready to run for cross country gold

CARROLLTON
White County freshman Jenna Gearing is a strong favorite to win the Class AAA girls state cross country title Saturday in Carrollton. Gearing has the three fastest times in Class AAA this season.
North Hall's Witt Nix will lead the Trojans into the Class AAA championship on Saturday in Carrollton.
