Volleyball: Lakeview splits

ATHENS -- Lakeview Academy rebounded from a loss to Hebron Christian to beat Athens Christian 25-15, 25-20 Tuesday in girls volleyball action.

The Lady Lions fewll to Hebron 25-18, 25-12.

Katie White had 14 digs and six kills to lead the Lady Lions. Katie Gay added five kills, six digs and one ace, while Shelby Ross had a nine-point service run with seven aces.

Samantha Versteeg had 22 digs and Delaney Jarrett 11 assists for lakeview the night.

Lakeview travels to Jefferson on Thursday.
