Volleyball: Lady Vikings sweep quad-match

OAKWOOD -- The East Hall girls volleyball team came away with three wins Tuesday in a quad-meet at the West Hall gym.

The Lady Vikings (22-12) whipped meadowcreek 25-6, 25-13; Cedar Shoals 25-6, 25-3; and West Hall 25-20, 26-24.

Brittney Campbell had a huge night with 34 service points, 40 assists, 12 aces, six kills, and five digs to pace East Hall.

Emily Hoggard had 17 service points, eight kills, six aces, and five digs and Kara Hix added 30 service points, 39 digs, 13 aces, and six kills. Tarryn Long had 23 kills, 17 digs and four aces for the Lady Vikings.
