Boys basketball: North Hall matches longest win streak since '10

DAHLONEGA -- North Hall opened the game with a 15-2 run and then cruised to a 72-52 win over Lumpkin County Friday night in Region 8A-AAA action.

The win for North Hall ran its win streak to 11 games, its longest in two years.

Ethan Smith and Griffin Olson each paced the Trojans (18-3, 7-0 in subregion) with 19 points apiece. Preston Smith had 15 points.

Devonte Anderson led Lumpkin County (2-20, 1-6) with 11 points.

North Hall visits East Hall at 7:30 p.m. tonight and Lumpkin County hosts Stephens County at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Dahlonega.
