Gainesville Mechanical gives away HVAC system

GAINESVILLE - Gainesville Mechanical Services recently awarded a $6,500 HVAC system to a Jefferson customer during its first ever Customer Assurance Giveaway.

Gainesville Mechanical owner Mike Herrington said the company realizes that replacement of heating and air systems can be an expensive venture, so he wanted to reward at least one customer with a free HVAC system.

"Every customer that trusted Gainesville Mechanical Services to change out their existing HVAC system with a new Bryant HVAC system got a Gainesville Mechanical 'Golden Ticket,'" said Herrington.

Those tickets were entered into a drawing, which took place December 31, 2011.

Carl McNichols from Jefferson won the system, according to Herrington.

Herrington said Gainesville Mechanical plans to make the giveaway an annual event.
