Girls basketball: Buford stays unbeaten in 6-AA

NORCROSS -- Buford stayed perfect in Region 6A-AA with a tough 51-45 win over Greater Atlanta Christian Friday night.

The game was close through the first three quaretrs with Buford leading just 33-31. But the Lady Wolves were able to hold off the Lady Spartans down the stretch.

Kristina Nelson led Buford (10-5, 5-0 in subregion) with 16 points. Kaela Davis added 14 points and Kallie Case had 10 points for the Lady Wolves.

Breanna Cummins led GAC with 17 points.
