GAINESVILLE - Seven people have been arrested in Gainesville, charged with cocaine trafficking, after federal and local agents wrapped up an undercover investigation Thursday.

Lt. Scott Ware said only one of those arrested had a Gainesville address; the other suspects listed addresses from as far away as Savannah, Cartersville and Garden City.

"I don't know the specifics of how they know each other," said Ware. "But, all seven are connected and arrived in three separate vehicles to complete the transaction yesterday [Thursday]."

Ware said the suspects arrived at a predetermined location on West Ridge Road with $83,000 in hand planning to purchase cocaine as arranged by undercover officers.

Those arrested are identified as Robert Gutierrez, 32, of Gainesville, Rafael Castillo Morillon, 30, of Roswell, Stephen McCoy, 36, of Stone Mountain, Nathaniel Furlow, 30, of Savannah, Bakeyba Stives Simmons, 35, of Garden City, Keaunae Janise Williams, 21, of Savannah and Maria Luisa Holtzclaw, 36, of Cartersville.
