Spangler to serve as interim White Co. Chamber President

The White County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has announced that Russ Spangler, of Sautee has been selected as interim chamber president. He will fill the position part time replacing Judy Walker who announced last month her retirement. Spangler begins his work this week.

Holly Hunt, Chamber board chair said, "We are excited and grateful that Russ has agreed to do this for us, as it will allow us adequate time to determine our next president."

John Erbele, a member of the chamber president search committee said, "Russ has stepped in and helped the White County Chamber before under very similar circumstances. Russ is knowledgeable and friendly and knows this community." Spangler has served as interim president for the White County Chamber three times in the past.
