It is a free program geared towards third- through fifth-graders that stresses the importance of proper football technique, promotes physical activity and proper hydration. The one-day event and takes children through four or five football stations. Each camp begins with a brief pep talk and ends with a fun activity for everyone involved. The camps are an effort by the Falcons and Gatorade to fight obesity in young people.
Sugar Hill Elementary School, also in the Hall County School System, and Gainesville Elementary are also on the list this year.
