Weiser named PAGE Member of the Year

GAINESVILLE - Heather Weiser, a teacher and PAGE building contact at Centennial Arts Academy in Gainesville, was recently named District 9 Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) Member of the Year for 2011. She was selected from a total of 244 building contacts in 20 school systems that represent District 9. <br /> <br /> "Heather does an excellent job of taking care of her PAGE members at Centennial Arts Academy," says Jean Cooper, PAGE District 9 Membership Services Representative. "She seeks out and shares the latest information on educational issues to keep her faculty informed. Her goal is [to have] a better understanding of our legislative process and how the major educational bills are progressing. Our congratulations to Heather!"<br /> <br /> PAGE is the largest organization for professional educators in the state with over 81,000 educators, administrators and school support personnel members.
