The Indians (3-1) scored the first 14 points before West Hall (0-4) cut the lead in half in the second quarter on a 17-yard pass from Chandler Newton to A.J. Stephens.
Stephens County responded, however, with 21 straight points to end the first half -- 14 of which coming in a three minute period. The Spartans also had to play the rest of the game without Newton, who was injured late in the second half and never returned. He finished 4-of-10 for 40 yards and one touchdown.
Newton is expected to ready in two weeks when the Spartans (0-4) travel to Walnut Grove.
Stephens County increased its lead to 44-7 early in the fourth quarter before Rico Jones finished the scoring on a 65-yard TD run. Jones finished the game with 125 yards on 15 carries.
Stephens County will take a bye next week before traveling to face Franklin County on Sept. 30.
