Softball: Snapp, McKinney combine for no-hitter to lead Jefferson

JEFFERSON -- Savannah Snapp and Morgan McKinney combined on a six-inning no-hitter to lead Jefferson to an 8-0 win over Hart County in Region 8B-AA softball action Tuesday.

The Lady Dragons (9-17, 6-2 in subregion) pounded out 12 hits for game, paced by three hits from Jordyn Whitfield. Cason Anderson had two hits and two RBI for Jefferson, who remained in third place in the subregion standings.

Jefferson next will play host to Elbert County on Senior Night on Wednesday.
