*Friday Sep. 9
Gainesville: First United Methodist Church sanctuary will be open from 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. for prayer. Also Saturday.
Dawsonville: 9:00 a.m. at Dawson County EMS Headquarters.
Gainesville: 11:30 a.m. Gainesville High School gym
*Saturday Sep. 10
Gainesville: First United Methodist Church sanctuary will be open from 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. for prayer
Gainesville: 9:30 a.m. at Public Safety Building, Queen City Parkway
Suwanee: 7:00 p.m. Town Center Park. Includes unveiling of "Remembrance," a 1,638-pound World Trade Center artifact.
Gainesville: 7:30 p.m. at Riverside Military Academy. Patriotic Concert sponsored by Northeast Georgia History Center.
Sunday Sep. 11
*Gainesville: 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Special worship services at Lakewood Baptist Church. Special guests: members of the family of Edna Stephens, the Gainesville native who perished in the attack on the Pentagon
*Cumming: 10:00 a.m.-8 p.m. Forsyth Family Fest. Cumming Fairgrounds. Morning worship service, afternoon activities, evening program, and fireworks
*Gaineville: 11:00 worship service at Free Chapel Worship Center. Special guest: Gov. Nathan Deal
*Clarkesville: 5:00 p.m. Habersham Central High School. U.S. Rep. Paul Broun and Gov. Deal to participate, along with Col. Victor Correa, a survivor of the attack on the Pentagon.
*Dahlonega: 7:30 p.m. North Georgia College & State University at the drill field
Monday Sept. 12
*Gainesville: 9:00 a.m. Woods Mill Academy gym
Thursday, Sept. 29
*Gainesville: Mt. Vernon Elementary School's annual PTO program, honoring the victims of 9/11
