4 public meetings set on TSPLOST plans for NE Ga.

GAINESVILLE - The dates have been set for a series of meetings on projects identified for next year's Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (TSPLOST).

The Georgia Mountains Regional Transportation Roundtable formally approved the draft constrained project list for the region, including Gainesville and Hall County, last month.

There are four meetings planned later this month when the public will be able to find out more about Transportation Investment Act (TIA) of 2010 and the list of projects.

· Hall County: September 13 from 5:30-7:00 at the Spout Springs Library in Flowery Branch
· Stephens County: September 20 from 5:00-7:00 at the Stephens County Courthouse in Toccoa
· Forsyth County: September 22 from 5:00-7:00 at the Forsyth County Administration Building in Cumming
· White County: September 22 from 5:00-7:00 at the White County Library in Cleveland
