Volleyball: West Hall win streak snapped at 10

OAKWOOD -- West Hall saw its season-opening win streak snapped at 10 after falling to Oconee County Tuesday in a battle of top team teams in Class AAA and Region 8-AAA volleyball action.

The ninth-ranked Lady Spartans (10-1, 1-1 in subregion) opened a tri-match with a 25-13, 26-24 win over rival Johnson but then fell to No. 5 Oconee County 25-19,25-8 in the second match.

West Hall next will travel to Class AA/A Tallulah Falls on Thursday before jumping back into Region 8-AAA action next week.
