Volleyball: Lady Falcons drop two in tri-match

FLOWERY BRANCH -- Flowery Branch lost a pair of volleyball matches Thursday, including one in Region 8-AAAA play.

The Lady Falcons lost to Providence Christian 25-15, 25-18 in the opening match and then fell to Rockdale County 25-18, 25-21 in its region contest.


Amber Merchant had 12 kills, 4.5 blocks and three digs on the night to pace Flowery Bbranch. Bethany Mann added three aces and eight assists for the Lady Falcons.

Flowery Branch next will travel to Madison County Tuesday in another Region 8-AAAA match.
