Madison Whitmire led an offensive barrage for Jackson County as the Lady Panthers pounded the Lady Bulldogs 15-2.
Whitmire went 4-for-5 with two homeruns and four RBI to lead Jackson County. Macey Latty and Jessica Baker, and Haley Shinall had two RBI each while Mason Garland and Andrea Ledford had one RBI apiece for the Lady Panthers.
Senior pitcher Haley Shinall allowed just three hits and two runs while fanning 11 to earn the win.
The Lady Panthers will hit the road again on Thursday in another Region 8-AA matchup against Elbert County.
