Lake Lanier Shore Sweep set for Sept. 24

BUFORD - The Lake Lanier Association will host the 23rd Annual Shore Sweep on Saturday, September 24, at thirteen locations around the Lake Lanier.

From 8:00-1:00, and volunteers may pick up trash bags to collect trash from the shoreline at the locations on the lake listed below.

Trash may be taken to these locations with the exception of Lake Lanier Islands where volunteers may enter at no charge through the main gate to collect trash.

Advance registration for the event is not required, but organizers say it does help in scheduling shoreline coverage. Groups and individuals planning to participate can contact the Lake Lanier Association at [email protected].
