GAINESVILLE - The Hall County fire station on McEver Road across from Free Chapel will soon be temporarily re-located.

Fire chief David Kimbrell confirmed Sunday morning that Station #4 personnel and equipment will move into the basement of the county-owned Liberty Mutual building, just up the road at Browns Bridge and McEver roads, while the fire station is being renovated.

Kimbrell said the move will likely to be made before the end of the month.

He said Station #4 is in bad need of repairs and that the renovation will be pretty extensive, inside and out.
