Body found in parking lot of Gainesville business

GAINESVILLE - An investigation is underway after a body was found in a parking lot on the southside of Gainesville.

The body was found early Friday by police responding to a report of an "unresponsive" person in the parking lot of the Dollar General on Athens Highway.

Police say it appears that the death was from natural causes.

Officers say they got the call about 4:00.
