Pound of marijuana seized in S. Hall

GAINESVILLE - A drug investigation leads to the arrest of a Buford man after he allegedly delivered a pound of marijuana to undercover drug agents in Flowery Branch.

Lt. Scott Ware of the Gainesville-Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS) says the bust occurred Thursday on Friendship Road.

Ware said Christopher Anthony Peyton, 28, is charged with Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute and Felony Possession of Marijuana.

He said the pot had a street value of $2,000.
