Jackson EMC spokeswoman Bonnie Jones says eleven people in the Jim Hood Road area were without power for about five hours starting around 4:30 after a tree fell across some lines.
The second outage occurred about 1:30, according to Jones. At 9:30, crews were still working to finish replacing a pole that was snapped in the Murrayville area by a tree falling across lines. That outage is affecting 37 Jackson EMC customers.
