Georgia State Patrol Lt. Paul Cosper said 19-year-old Tony James Delong, Jr. of Gainesville faces a number of charges.
"He was charged with two counts of vehicular homicide in the second degree, [driving] too fast for conditions and there were three charges of seat belt violation," said Cosper.
Two passengers in DeLong's Jeep, 14-year-old Brandon Hodges of Lawrenceville and 16-year-old Christian Walker of Cumming, were killed the afternoon of July 4.
Five people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
