Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell says neighbors reported the Wiley Road fire about 2:45 and it was "fully involved" in flames when the first units arrived.
"Neighbors reported someone living in the home, however no one was home at the time of the fire," Kimbrell said.
Kimbrell added "(the) structure was a total loss. The time of day attributed to the advance of the fire because no one was up and awake, and it burned before it was discovered."
He put the "estimated loss" at $60,000.
