Historic postcard set offered in Demorest

DEMOREST - The 2011 set of historic postcards is on sale at the Demorest City Hall. The 10-card set depicts scenes from the city's famed history and three images of current-day sites.

This is the second set in the series which began last year. The pack is $5.00 and includes photos of the old Demorest schools, Springs Park, its Glorious Fourth of July celebration,the pedestrian bridge and a lighted American flag and the cover poster of Milltown Pride, the feature movie filmed in Demorest.

Demorest City Hall is on Georgia Street and is open 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
