The city council is to consider the matter tonight.
The council will discuss it at 6:30 at city hall prior to the regular council work session.
According to the Hall County Web site, the park consists of:
15 Picnic sites
2 Baseball/softball field
Outdoor/hard surface basketball court
1 Tennis court
Playground
1 Picnic shelter
Nature trail
Concession/restroom building
The park is one of four the county closed July 1 as part of a reorganization of Hall County Parks & Leisure Services in the wake of an $11.5 million budget shortfall. The others are in Tadmore and Murrayville and South Hall (Platt Park.)
