DOT traffic engineers have studied the intersection of State Route 51 and State Route 63," McDuffie said, "(and) after a detailed review of traffic counts, traffic patterns and accident data we have determined this intersection warrants an all way stop."
McDuffie added that rumble strips will also be installed on approaches to the intersection along with two sets of new all way stop ahead warning signs.
"Currently, traffic on SR 63 must stop and yield of traffic on SR 51. The new signs and rumble strips will be installed Wednesday morning if weather allows.
