The furloughs, which have been used for a couple of years to help cut expenses because of the recession, are due to continue in the new fiscal year, which begins July 1, according to the revised budget proposal which was released by Hall County Friday. There are twelve of them included in the spending plan but unlike the original budget proposal, county employees would get to keep their nine paid holidays. (See earlier story.)
