The 800 pound gorilla - lack of jobs and money

It seems to me we are all trying to balance city and county budgets without acknowledging the 800 pound gorilla in the room. We are in the worst recession since the 1930's because of pie-in-the-sky policies of our federal government. <br /> It is generally agreed this recession was triggered because Congress decided everyone in America should own a home.
