How many genders are there? Can it be 'boy, girl or both?'

While filling in on the regional talk show Al Gainey and Company on AM 550/FM 102.9 WDUN, I discussed the article I discovered while doing my show prep. <br /> <br /> The article dealt with Redwood Heights Elementary School in Oakland, CA teaching children from kindergarten through fifth grade that there are more than two genders. <br /> <br /> In documents released by the school, students will be taught that "gender is not inherently nor solely connected to one's physical anatomy." Another document from the school advises parents, "When you discuss gender with your child you may hear them exploring where they fit on the gender spectrum and why." There are activities and reading lists for K1-5th grade for this instruction (which I choose to call indoctrination).<br /> <br /> I believe the legal counsel offered to parents in the district, "If you are a parent of a child enrolled in a school where this instruction is taking place, you may consider keeping your child home on days when this material is being presented" is sound advice!<br /> <br /> Please. Enough is enough! <br /> <br /> Outside of what could be a "reasonable debate" about the soundness of such training, "Who can not agree that K1-5th grade is not an appropriate venue?" <br /> <br /> If a College or Graduate school wants to offer such instruction, that is one thing, but really, this kind of material in kindergarten?<br /> <br /> Did you see the material's description, "gender is not inherently nor solely connected to one's physical anatomy"? I can only imagine the confusion that such instruction will bring to bear on a kindergarten pupil.<br /> <br /> I believe this is just another veiled effort, (not even a good one at that), to promote further the homosexual agenda. I am getting so weary of the radical news elements telling me how to think on the subject of sexuality. <br /> <br /> Oh yea, and by the way, Redwood Heights Elementary, ever hear what Jesus said about "gender"? "But from the beginning of creation God made them male and female."
