WINDER- The Barrow County Sheriff's Office has arrested two online child predators.

Arrested on Wednesday May 25th were 39 year old Alexander Hicks of Americus and 35 year old Jeffrey Samuel Rich of Snellville.

The arrests were made after an undercover Barrow County Sheriff's Investigator posed as a 14-year-old female online.

Hicks is charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes; and two counts in violation of the computer pornography child exploitation act. Rich is charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes and violation of the computer pornography child exploitation act.

The latest two arrests mark the 6th and 7th persons arrested by the Sheriff's Office since the Barrow County Crime task force began undercover investigations in September of 2010.

As summer approaches, and children will spend more time on the computer, the Sheriff's Office encourages all parents to monitor their children's internet activity, including chat logs, history of sites visited and social networking sites.
