CLERMONT - The work of a stroke survivor from Clermont who was told by his doctor to "get a hobby" will be on display in the North Hall town Monday.

Robert Allison has built a 24x28 model of downtown Clermont and it will be on display in the Clermont Gym from 4:00-8:00, according to Sandra Cantrell of the Clermont Historical Society.

Cantrell says Allison - who worked on the project for four years - is a treasure trove of Clermont history and he will be on hand to discuss his work, hear his stories about Clermont and how he remembers the town as a young boy.
