Kiwanis names law enforcement award winners

GAINESVILLE - The winners of this year's Gainesville Kiwanis Club John W. Jacobs, Senior, law enforcement awards were named at Tuesday's club meeting.

They are: investigator Gordon Hendry of the Gainesville Police Department; investigator Dan Franklin of the Hall County Sheriff's Office; Trooper First Class Auston Allen of the Gainesville State Patrol Post; officer Sydney Adams of the Hall County Correctional Institution; and Ranger First Class Eric Isom of the state DNR Enforcement Division.
