Victim of hit-and-run was Suwanee man

LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett County police have released the name of the man who was struck and killed in a hit-and-run in North Gwinnett Tuesday night.

Cpl. Edwin Ritter says he was Thiago Campos, 28, Suwanee.

Ritter said Campos was hit late Tuesday night while walking near the Sugarloaf Parkway-Cruse Road intersection.

Police say that based on debris on the scene, they are looking for a late model Dodge Ram pickup, color unknown but with damage to the front passenger side.
