ATHENS -- Georgia will enter the 2011 season with a shortage of experience at offensive tackle after A.J. Harmon's decision to continue his career at another school.

Georgia coach Mark Richt said Tuesday Harmon, a junior backup, will transfer for personal reasons. No details were provided.

Harmon, from Louisville, played in seven games the past two seasons, including four in 2010. The 6-foot-5, 345-pound Harmon was listed as a top backup at right tackle following spring practice.

Harmon's exit and Trinton Sturdivant's knee injury leaves Georgia will little experience behind projected starting tackles Cordy Glenn and Justin Anderson.
