W.C. Boy Run Over By Lawn Mower

(Cleveland)- An 11-year old White County youth was injured Sunday afternoon when he was run over by a lawn mower. White County Fire Chief Dickie Howard said the incident occurred just before 1:00 PM on Luther Palmer Road.
Howard said the boy suffered injuries to a foot.

White County Emergency Service personnel requested a air ambulance and the youth was transported by Air Life II to Egelston Children's Hospital in Atlanta. The condition of the boy was not known, but firefighters report that he was waving to them as the helicopter lifted off.
