Baseball: North Hall routs Johnson, takes third in 8-AAA

MURRAYVILLE -- North Hall finished the season with a 15-0 blowout of Johnson in three innings Friday but it wasn't could goods to win Region 8-AAA.

The Trojans (21-5, 20-4 in region) finished in third place in the region despite finishing in a three-way tie with Gainesville and White County.

Jared Oliver earned the win tossing a complete-game two hitter while striking out five.

North Hall banged out eight hits, sparked by Jesse Strickland with two hits and three RBI. Andrew Smith had two hits and one RBI and Griffin Olson had a triple and three RBI

North Hall opened the game with a four-run first inning. the Trojans added eight in the second and three in the third to put the game away.

The Trojans will open the Class AAA playoffs next week on the road taking on LaGrange.
